Marco Acerbis

Marco Acerbis, an award-winning, internationally renowned architect who worked with Foster+Partner and the architect Mario Bellini, as well as a prestigious client portfolio designed the entire Aeroline for Bassocontinuo, a series of objects with strong aesthetic connotations that do not disdain state-of-the-art technical solutions.

Born in 1973, Acerbis graduates in architecture from Politecnico di Milano in 1998. From 1997 to 2002 he lives in London where he works with Foster + Partners studio and with Mario Bellini.
He sets up his own practice in Italy in 2005. Fascinated by designing at very different scales he quickly moves on to explore with a constant cross over of skills, ideas, tools and technologies all sorts of subjects to achieve a globally designed space.
In 2005 he designed the first lamp for FontanaArte: Vertigo, that gains an immediat success, entering immediately the permanent collection of the Vitra Design Museum. His interest for the contemporary living themes leads him to engage with projects of sustainable architecture, such as Xeliox Energy Lab – the first industrial building certified class A in Italy or POLINS, new Strategic Innovation Centre in Veneto.
